THE MILITARY
OATH TAKEN BY ALL OFFICERS ELECTED OR APPOINTED TO CIVIL OR ARMED SERVICES "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the CONSTITUTION of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter so help me God." Without delving into the circumstances that lead to our involvement in wars since the Spanish American War, the last war that was declared by congress was the Second World War. Since then, not one, I repeat, not one war was Constitutional or linked to defending America from foreign enemies. The domestic enemies, the ones ignoring the Constitution, have increased in number at a rate that makes even the mention of rule by the Constitution a laughing matter at best. In truth, the Constitution has been an obstacle to getting our military involved in engagements that have cost thousands upon thousands of American lives and billions upon billions of dollars. Granted, the civilian sectors of government; Dept. of State, Dept. of "Defense" (Offense would be a better name) and others have needed and found people in the military willing to join them in ignoring the law of the land they swore before God and Country to uphold. Down through history, there has always been TWO kinds of soldiers and police; those that were put in positions of authority to protect and serve the lives, liberties and properties of the people and those that were hired to act as Regulators to perpetrate the wishes of the Command Class in power on the lives, liberties and properties of the people both abroad and at home. Every society has the potential to fall under the dictates of a Command Class and every Command Class can find willing Regulators. In America today, the former are giving way to the latter. Those that joined up to serve God and Country are either accepting the role of being transformed into Politically Correct Regulators or getting out. During the Nuremberg Trials after the Second World War, the Nazis plea was "we were only following orders". This was not acceptable. They were told there was a higher law to which nations and individuals were accountable. Many of them were executed FOR DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS (THE, NOT OUR) GOVERNMENT NOW FINDS TO BE ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. The governments (elected and bureaucratic) we serve have set themselves up like the Leaders and Regulators of Communist countries, the National Socialist (Nazis), Fascist in Italy etc.. Their actions prove they do not hold themselves accountable to the Higher law or the Oath of Office they put their hand on the Bible to uphold. They are religious fanatics (would be gods). To them might make's right. Witness the armed invasion of the Gonzalez home in Miami, to name just one instance where the presence, and use, of brute force was used That was done (they knew the picture was being taken) to stir up terror in the citizens of this country. Fledgling Tyrants always use tactics like that to terrorize people into submission. Tell me, when you get a letter from the IRS, do you respond in a subdued manner or boldly. Fear coupled with acts of terror is the tool of criminals, political and otherwise. If elected I will do everything in my power to hold your "servants" up to accountability to the legitimate law of the land to a point of bringing criminal and civil action against them. I will propose legislation making it a crime to breach the provisions outlined in the Constitution interpreted as the Founders intended…under the "Laws of Nature and Nature’s God." My plan for our military is as follows: Bring ALL our troops home. We are not an Empire policing our "131 Protectorates." Or are we? That’s about the number of countries with a U.S. Military presence. Immoral and amoral conduct would not be tolerated whether it be adultery, fornication, sodomy, pedophilia, beastiality whatever. Get us out of all foreign political entanglements. Their stupid quarrels are not ours and every time we take the side of one we make an enemy of another. This is why terrorism is now at our shores, not that the New World Order crowd cares because the current policies "justify" infringing on more of our liberties and Constitutional law. Build up our Navy and Air Force to a point where just their presence would humble the most powerful adversary, hopefully with out firing a shot. These Forces are Forces of defense. They would be battle ready, supported by a strong, well equipped Reserve, ready to be called up at a moment’s notice. Maintain a skeleton Army, as this is an Occupational Force. It also would be supported by a strong well equipped Reserve, capable of being called up at a moment’s notice. As an Occupational Force you only need the Army in time of war. Read your Constitution. The Founders stated funding for the Army should be at two year intervals requiring a vote by congress for any continuation of said funding. This did not apply to the only defensive forces at the time, the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. I would submit legislation to hold the President and everyone else sworn to uphold the Constitution in government up to the same standards military personnel are held to, punishable in the same manner. After all, if we expect those charged with defending America at the risk of death and injury to adhere to a proscribed moral standard, shouldn’t we hold those putting them in harms way to the same or a higher standard? I would propose legislation reducing the salaries and benefits of the legislature and bureaucratic regulators to the same levels as the lowest levels of those in the service in time of war. I would review the training technique servicemen and women are being subjected to. Anything that was contradictory to the Oath they took when joining the service would be discarded and anyone teaching them something different would be subject to charges of treason. Training would not include psychological indoctrination so that they would become programmed killers and they would not be indoctrinated into believing political correctness was the definition of right conduct. They would study the Nurmberg trials so that they would have a clear understanding of the difference between moral, immoral and amoral conduct in the course of their duties. I would reinforce Posse Comatatus to insure the military could never be used as a police force in the U.S. This is how POLICE STATES, like the one we are rapidly becoming, come into being. I would look for the appointment of a Secretaries of State, Defense the Justice Department etc. that had, not only a strong working knowledge of America’s Constitutional role in world affairs, but had that knowledge in their hearts. Since 9/11 we have been subjected to some of the most blatant lies a people could possibly be subjected to by their own government. Forinstance: The "War on Terror". To define terror…Terror is a violent act of either a psychological or physical nature to gain or maintain supremacy: PERIOD. It is a tactic, not a strategy. Tactics are the battles of war, they are not the strategy of war. No government ever went to war against a tactic. You plan a strategy to achieve your objectives and then use tactics to accomplish said strategy. Strategies are born out of objectives of either a psychological or physical nature. We are perpetually in a religious war in that religion is nothing more than ones heart felt beliefs. Our nations heart felt beliefs of either a psychological or physical nature, dictate our strategies. Our current beliefs encompass intervention in other countries affairs while our adversaries believe they have a right to defend themselves from said intervention. The strategies enacted out in tactics on both sides to gain supremacy are only bound by the degree of recognition they give to morality (God’s code of conduct for action and interaction.) Osama bin Ladens tactics were and are horrendous to say the least. But then so are ours in using the worlds most powerful military as a WMD to terrify people and nations. In order to come to peaceful resolutions, all peoples must examine their goals and take steps to see to it that their actions are not the cause of conflict. The acts of the civilian and military segments of a peoples government are nothing more than a reflection of said peoples heart felt beliefs. The only innocent victims in a country are those not able to participate in the choice of its leaders. The apathetic and people actually choosing the course are where the buck stops. Our desire to rid everybody but ourselves of Weapons of Mass Destruction "WMD’s", is hypocritical to say the least. No country has killed more men, women and children than America has with WMD’s. The whole world knows it but some how we have forgotten. Can anyone look in the mirror and honestly judge himself or ourselves as of such a higher moral character that we are entitled by God to take the stand we do? Does any God fearing person actually believe we will not be held accountable by the One who is armed with weapons of mass destruction that make ours look like fire crackers. During the "Cold War" not one of those countries we were taught to look at as tyrannical in comparison to ourselves ever used WMD’s unless of course, we gave them to them such as our "gift" to Saddam Hussein. The strengths that we had achieved because we were once good stewards of our environments, were never intended to misused as they are today. By environment, I mean all the environments we come in contact with day to day. You want to understand the use of force from a moral perspective? Get your hands on the video "Sargent York" starring Gary Cooper. It is the story of a man who had an extraordinary ability to kill but who wrestled with how to use that ability from a Godly perspective.
